Message from the Superintendent:
As we prepare to
begin the 2009-2010 school year, I would like to express how proud
I am of the students and staff of Bloomburg ISD. Through their hard
work and commitment to excellence, the Bloomburg ISD has been rated
as a RECOGNIZED school district. The Elementary campus was rated
EXEMPLARY and the Secondary campus was rated RECOGNIZED. Both these
ratings represent a one level improvement in our rating from last
year.
We are committed
to continuing and improving on the programs at Bloomburg ISD that
allowed us to attain these levels of recognition. We have begun
reaching levels of maximum capacity in some of our grade levels and
will have to look at creating more classrooms for this growth. This
is an indication that the district is being recognized as a ‘great
place for my child’s educational experience.’ As the number of
students increase, our ability to add programs will improve. We are
committed to creating the best possible educational experience for
our children.
We ask that each
of you continue to support your children and our school district in
this growth. If you ever feel a need to discuss any topics that
deal with Bloomburg ISD, feel free to contact me or you can utilize
WILDCAT WATCH on our website. Either way, we will be glad to hear
from you.
Together we are making our district “The Best Small School in East
