Message from the Superintendent

As we enter into the 2011-2012 school year, we celebrate the newly
released information that Bloomburg ISD is one of only two districts in Cass County to be identified as a “RECOGNIZED” school district. Due to the hard work of our staff and the dedication of our student body, our Elementary campus was given an “EXEMPLARY” label..again! And our Secondary campus received an "ACADEMICALLY ACCEPTABLE” rating, only missing a Recognized rating by a few areas of evaluation.Once again, we demonstrated that we are deserving of the label the “Best Small School in East Texas”!!
We are looking forward to our second year of 6-man football season. The boys have been working hard and we are looking forward to the season. Don’t miss being at the ‘first victory’ in Bloomburg history!!
We also began a number of new activities during the last school year and we hope to see them expand this year…..Robotics, National Honor Society, and International Club.
As I stated, we are excited about what we've accomplished at BISD and look forward in anticipation of all that is to come our way this year. We ask that you continue to support us and work with us.
