5th Grade Takes on NASA

On March 10th Bloomburg ISD 5th graders headed to Houston, Texas."NASA grants an opportunity like nothing else. “It provides our students with a hands on learning experience in an amazing science environment” states Brian Stroman principal. The space camp along with Moody Gardens allows a 5th grade student to think beyond themselves to what they can accomplish through the study of Math, Science and Technology. The two day trip was compiled of many lessons including every thing from aquarium life at Moody Gardens to the hands on activities at the space center. Bloomburg ISD would like to thank the many companies that supported and have helped to make this trip possible for so many students. Wal-Mart, Bloomburg State Bank, Atlanta First Baptist Church, Bloomburg ISD School Board and local members of the community for their support and donations.
